Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry organized the 3rd International Congress on Innovative Dentistry. The congress, where current issues related to dentistry will be discussed, will end on November 27.

The opening speech of Selçuk University 3rd International Innovative Dentistry Congress held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center was made by Dean of Faculty of Dentistry and Congress President Prof. Dr. Abdullah Kalaycı. Stating that the congress will be a serious experience for students and assistants, Kalaycı said, "There are speakers from Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain. It will be a full 3-day congress. I thank you all for attending the congress." 

"THE CONGRESS WILL ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH"

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftçi said, "Our country and the world are going through a very serious period. The pandemic period caused great difficulties especially in terms of congresses and trainings. We are very happy to have a training and congress in mutual interaction. The value and success of multidisciplinary work is very different. Teamwork plays a very important role in multidisciplinary work. On behalf of our university, we are trying to do everything we can to prioritize teamwork and organize these achievements. We are trying to bring together many health-related branches such as the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Pharmacy, Vocational School of Health Services, School of Health Services within our university. We strive to create multidisciplinary work. I hope that these congresses will contribute to the world literature and scientific research." 

Prof. Dr. Ayad Ghany Ismaeel Barznchy, Rector of Kirkuk Al-Kitab University, said: "Al-Kitab University is a new university compared to Selçuk University. Currently, our university consists of 9 faculties. 4 of them are related to health fields. We have international agreements. We signed a cooperation agreement with Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Rector of Selçuk University and we are very happy for this. Thank you very much for inviting us." 

After the protocol speeches, the sessions started.
