POMO III (Postmodern) International Postal Art Exhibition organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts was opened. The exhibition consists of 800 works by 700 artists from 39 countries.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dalkıran, Director of Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakaya, academicians and students attended the opening of POMO III (Postmodern) International Mail Art Exhibition organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts.

SELÇUK UNIVERSITY BROUGHT THOUSANDS OF WORKS TOGETHER

Stating that 39 countries such as Turkey, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Spain and the Netherlands participated in the Postmodern International Postal Art Exhibition held for the third time this year, Faculty of Fine Arts Graphics Department Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hikmet Şahin said, "925 artists from 35 countries participated in our first exhibition in 2019 with over 2 thousand works. Our second exhibition in 2020 was held interactively due to the pandemic. Despite this, more than 850 works by 685 artists from 45 countries were exhibited. I would like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy for accepting the honorary presidency of our exhibition."

"OPPORTUNITY TO EXAMINE 800 WORKS"

Expressing that artistic activities are a part of education, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dalkıran said that a whole is formed when education and such activities come together, international exhibitions are very important and the exhibition is also promoted in other countries. Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken said, "With the POMO III (Postmodern) International Postal Art Exhibition, it was possible to evaluate 800 works of 700 artists from all over the world. It makes us happy to see so many works together. I would like to thank Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hikmet Şahin, our academicians and students for their contribution to our university and all humanity."

The exhibition will remain open until November 30.
