The Spring Festivals started with the opening program at Selcuk University Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center. First, the mehter team and Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory students took the stage.

"WE AIM TO RAISE INDIVIDUALS WHO PROTECT SOCIAL VALUES"

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that they consider such educational and entertaining activities as a complement to academic and scientific education and that they aim to raise cultured and conscious individuals who protect social values with this understanding and said, "We continue to support our esteemed students with the support we provide to all national and international projects carried out through institutions such as the European Union, TÜBİTAK and TRT. The achievements of our professors and students in recent years are the fruits of this support. Recently, according to the study conducted by Times Higher Education, one of the most important and respected ranking organizations in the world, our University was among the top 4 universities in Turkey in 'quality education'. I would like to state that we are very pleased and proud of this situation."

"COLLECT SWEET MEMORIES THAT WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE"

Rector Prof. Dr. Aksoy concluded his speech with the following words: "I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the creation of such a comprehensive and valuable organization, and I would like to let you know that I will closely follow the programs to be carried out by the student communities of our University and that I am always ready to support you, our esteemed students. My advice to you is to enjoy our Spring Festivals, which will be held on one of the largest and most spacious campuses in Turkey. Save sweet memories that will make you smile when you look back."
