The graduation ceremony for the 2020-2021 academic year was held at Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Technology.

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken said at the ceremony held in front of Keykubad Mansion that Selçuk University is one of the top universities in academic and administrative sense. Prof. Dr. Eken stated that Selçuk University will share its knowledge and experience with Bitlis Eren University and Ardahan University as a senior university within the scope of the Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) Anatolia Project. Prof. Dr. Eken stated that Selçuk University Faculty of Technology will contribute to Bitlis Eren University in the field of "engineering" in this context.

Giving advice to young engineers, Prof. Dr. Eken said, "Of course, you will be proud to graduate from here. After acquiring a profession, you will pursue your livelihood. The fields you graduated from are very valuable. Your fields are valid and strategically important professions in the world. While practicing this profession, do it without regard to race, language, religion, and profession. Think for all humanity. I ask you to do this. I believe that you will do your profession both in our country and abroad. You see the achievements of our country in recent years. We have started exporting many electronic devices, and God willing, you will carry this even further. Do not stop communicating with your professors after graduation. As Selçuk University, our professors and technical infrastructure will continue to be at your service. We are here for you. Never forget this."

Dean of the Faculty of Technology Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir noted that they are together to proudly send off young engineers who will have a say in Turkey's future, who will take part in the national and domestic technology move and who are competent in their profession. Explaining that university education is a challenging and productive process, Prof. Dr. Taşdemir said, "Today, each of you are young engineers responsible for your country and the world as well as yourself and your family. In the light of theoretical knowledge, you are graduating with the privileges of studying at the Faculty of Technology and receiving engineering education by gaining different experiences in business life and receiving more practical training. We believe that in the light of the modern and high-level information we have given you in your work, you will quickly climb the career ladder and achieve significant success in a short time."

After the speeches, certificates were given to the students who ranked first. Afterwards, diplomas were presented to the students. The ceremony, which was attended by faculty members and families, ended with the engineering oath and the cap throwing ceremony.
