A graduation ceremony for the 2020-2021 academic year was held at Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Tourism.

Selçuk University Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. at the ceremony held in front of Keykubad Mansion, İlhan Çiftci said that he graduated from Selçuk University, one of the most established universities in Türkiye, after the students completed their four-year arduous yet enjoyable education. Stating that although the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Tourism of Selçuk University spent part of the education process under the shadow of the pandemic, they did their best to serve their country better. Dr. Çiftci said, “As a result of your efforts, each of you deserves to graduate from this faculty. Thanks to the education you received at Selçuk University, you are far ahead of those who graduated from equivalent departments. You will experience this privilege closely in your future professional life, and then you will realize how equipped and competent you are. The diplomas given to you are the keys that will open the doors of your professional life. I am sure that this key will open beneficial doors for our young people who have determined their goals for the future, adopted the motto of being useful to their nation and all humanity, and do not hesitate to act for this purpose.”

Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Vural Çağlıyan also stated that the students who completed their education at the Faculty of Tourism were happy to graduate from Selçuk University, one of the strongest universities in Turkey, and said: “Each of you deserves to graduate from SU Faculty of Tourism and work in your dream job. You should not forget that university life is not limited to education alone, and that the vision and values you gain in your environment are also a separate part of this education.
