Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Agriculture 2020-2021 academic year graduation ceremony was held with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken.

In his speech, Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken said that faculty members and their families have made significant contributions to the training of young agricultural engineers. Stating that Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture is one of the first faculties of the university, Prof. Dr. Eken said: "You are our pride and our table of honor. You have come to this day by utilizing the education you received from our professors with experience and the strong technical infrastructure of our university. From now on, you will serve our country in the field of agriculture in the best way possible. One of the most important factors in the development of our country is the agriculture and livestock sector. I believe that you will make important contributions to our country as a result of the training you receive. Of course, your profession is not a static profession. It is a profession that is open to constant innovations and changes. In this respect, continue to improve yourself. You will read and research. After graduation, do not stop communicating with our esteemed professors and Selçuk University. The technical and other facilities of our university are open to you. I have no doubt that, God willing, you will do your professions in the best way both in our country and internationally."

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Zeki Bayramoğlu also stated that Selçuk University is one of the leading universities in Türkiye.

Prof. Dr. Bayramoğlu said that it is an important chance to receive Selçuk University education and culture:  "After graduation, we will be honored, proud and happy with the news of your success together with your families. Türkiye is one of the largest and strongest countries in the world in the agricultural sector as in every field. Agricultural engineers have brought the agricultural sector to this day. From now on, this responsibility belongs to you and you will carry it forward. The responsibility for the production of the food required for the nutrition of not only Türkiye but also the societies of the world rests on the shoulders of you, our esteemed agricultural engineers. Therefore, you will not forget this responsibility and you will shape your future and the future of the country. As all professors at the Faculty of Agriculture, we entrust every square meter of arable homeland soil to you."

After the speeches, certificates were presented to the graduating students. Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Deputy Secretary General Hikmet Özdemir, Chamber of Agricultural Engineers Konya Branch President Murat Akbulut, faculty members and families attended the ceremony, which ended with the awarding of diplomas to the students.
