A panel titled Vocational Promotion Summit was organized by Selçuk University Legal Atılım and Experience Community within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Year of our Republic. The professions of judge, prosecutor and lawyer were explained in the panel. 

The Vocational Promotion Summit, organized by the Legal Atılım and Experience Community consisting of Selçuk University Faculty of Law students and supported by Selçuk University Career Planning Application and Research Center, Legal Research Association and Selçuklu Youth Assembly, was held at the Faculty of Law Conference Hall.

Ahmet Sorgun, 27th Term AK Party Konya Deputy Ahmet Sorgun, who made the opening speech of the Professional Promotion Summit, said: "When we start to say that we cannot sit in public, we cannot wear the clothes worn by the public, we have to live in certain neighborhoods, we have to wear certain brands, then we become disconnected from society. The supremacy of law turns into the supremacy of the jurist and then we become estranged from the society. Lawyers should constantly renew themselves, question themselves, and not stay stuck in one place."

Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ülker said, "Somewhere in our minds and hearts, the painful events in Palestine will continue to exist, will constantly disturb us, and it should. We, each and every one of us, have to worry about this issue and seek solutions. We pray that our brothers and sisters in Palestine will reach an environment where they can live in comfort and peace as soon as possible."

Explaining the duties and responsibilities of the public prosecutor, Konya Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor İzzet Yurteri said, "The public prosecutor must be and appear to be impartial and independent. He must be honest and consistent. Observing privacy is a must for our profession. You must be cold-blooded. If your human relations are weak, it will be difficult for you to become a public prosecutor."

Muhammet Göktaş, President of Konya 3rd High Criminal Court, said, "Justice delayed is not justice. The profession of judge is a great profession. The judge must be understanding, knowledgeable and impartial. His impartiality should not cast a shadow on his decisions. He/she should pay attention to his/her clothing, attire, dialog with citizens and lawyers. Do not rent your opinion and conscience to someone else."

Legal Research Association (HUDER) Konya Branch President Lawyer Levent Babacan said, "Do not waste your summer vacation. Contact a law office. The experiences you will gain here will make important contributions to you. A lawyer should always research. We should always keep our knowledge at the highest level. A lawyer should also have a good knowledge of psychology and sociology."
