A National Technology Workshop is being established at Selçuk University

Selçuk University is establishing a National Technology Workshop to contribute to the National Technology Initiative launched under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This initiative marks another significant step for the university, which has created a unit called the Youth Valley Coordination to support this field. The project, accepted by TÜBİTAK, will be funded with a budget of 30 million liras.

The National Technology Initiative consists of five main components: “High Technology and Innovation,” “Digital Transformation and Industrial Movement,” “Entrepreneurship,” “Human Capital,” and “Infrastructure.” This initiative aims to ensure Turkey's economic and technological independence by enhancing the capability to design, develop, and produce critical technologies and products using national resources.

To support young people's projects in this area and enable them to prepare for the future with confidence, Selçuk University is implementing another important project. The "Selçuk University National Technology Workshop" project, prepared under TÜBİTAK's 4003-T National Technology Workshops Call, has been accepted by TÜBİTAK and is eligible for support with a budget of 30 million liras.

The National Technology Workshop will be equipped according to the technical standards set by TÜBİTAK, providing a modern environment where students can collaborate on projects. It will also serve entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts in the region.
