Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that Nevruz has a great importance in increasing cultural values, sincerity, friendship and brotherhood in relations between societies and said, "For this reason, Nevruz has a special value in ensuring unity and solidarity among the Turkic world, beyond being just the arrival of spring as a natural event. It should not be forgotten that Nowruz symbolizes our nation melting an iron mountain and leaving Ergenekon, that is, gaining freedom. Since then, it has been celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy by Turks. As you all know, Nowruz Festival is an important richness that we carry with great enthusiasm, which has been instrumental in strengthening our unity, solidarity and brotherhood for centuries. We are also endeavoring to transfer this cultural richness, which we inherited from our ancestors, to future generations in the same way. I wish that this celebration will be instrumental in abundance, fertility, peace and happiness; the unity and vitality of the Turks, and I sincerely congratulate you on Nowruz."
