"TEDx EuropeanClimatePactKonya: Talking Climate in the Steppe" event was organized.

Selçuk University Erasmus+ Institution Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Savaşan made a statement at the event held at SU Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory and said that the "TEDx EuropeanClimatePactKonya" event brought together academia and non-governmental organizations to find solutions to climate change and the problems it brings with it. Expressing that he believes that the event will contribute to the cooperation of academia and non-governmental organizations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savaşan said, "We aim to continue such events and to create awareness in society and university students. I would like to thank those who contributed to the organization of the event."

In the first session of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zerrin Savaşan presented "The Role of Law in Combating Climate Change: To what extent can it contribute to the solution?" In the second session, Nesibe Melike Köseoğlu Demir spoke on "Living Soil, Living Earth", Maya Özbayoğlu on "From Climate Activism to Struggle for a Utopia After the Climate Crisis", and Sevim Baki on "You Do Your Part".

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Oğuz Karakaya, Director of SU Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory, academic staff, representatives of non-governmental organizations and students.
