Delivering the opening speech of the programme, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hamurcu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SÜ Technology Development Zone Konya Teknokent, said: "We are a very lucky university. I always say this. One of the biggest factors of this luck is that we have a technology development zone, which adds a lot of value to us. Being with you with this value also makes us happy. It is very valuable for us to increase such initiatives, especially with young friends, to learn entrepreneurship and to realise the formations that will bring ideas to the point of initiative. Our Technopolis is coming to much better points with the support of our University. We are reaching a higher level with our new additional area, the creation of data centres and our projects. As we get stronger, I believe that we will come to much better and more effective points, especially with young friends. We are trying to give you all the support we can to come to good places with new ideas and projects. I would like to thank everyone who participated."

Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, Vice Rector of Selçuk University, thanked Konya Teknokent, companies and participants for organising the event and said: "It is very important to touch the society. As the administration of Selçuk University, we are trying our best to do this. It is very valuable to be able to touch the society, to connect with the society and to mingle with the society. There are many different units in our university. Teknokent is one of them. It has very serious studies. Youth Valley, ILTEK (Advanced Technology Research and Application Centre) and our Hospital are among our units trying to touch the society. The most important thing is to ensure that young people are beneficial to the society, fuse with the society and establish a connection. I think that the projects here will be very valuable in this regard and will open horizons. We are much more pleased to see the projects that will be beneficial to the society from young people."
