A kite festival was organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Health Sciences Nasreddin Hodja Practice Kindergarten. The children who were earthquake victims and staying in KYK dormitories and their families also attended the event. Nasreddin Hodja Practice Kindergarten students and their parents, as well as children who were earthquake victims and their families staying in KYK dormitories, had fun at the Kite Festival held at the 15 July Stadium in Alaeddin Keykubat Campus. The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Emine Arslan said, “Nasreddin Hodja Practice Kindergarten affiliated with our faculty has successfully completed the 2022 - 2023 Academic Year. When children smile, we smile, too as they are our future. Above all, it is our duty to make them happy.” The Director of Nasreddin Hodja Practice Kindergarten Dr. Cemil Paslı also said, “The sky means freedom. Our children fly their kites freely and have fun with clowns. By organizing such events for children, we want them to come into contact with life, to be involved in life, and to have many experiences from their childhood.” The children and their families who participated in the Kite Festival thanked the Faculty of Health Sciences Nasreddin Hodja Practice Kindergarten for organizing the event.
