Selçuk University (SU) Faculty of Veterinary Medicine 2020-2021 academic year graduation ceremony was held. Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that he believes that Selçuk University graduates will experience the privilege of Selçuk University graduates in their professional lives.

Selçuk University Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, University Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Konya Chamber of Veterinary Doctors President Mesut Koçak, faculty members and families attended the ceremony held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center.

In his speech at the ceremony, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that the students graduated from Selçuk University, which is one of the oldest universities in Türkiye, after completing 5 years of arduous, yet enjoyable education.

Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that although the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine spent part of the education process under the shadow of the pandemic, they made every effort to serve their country better and said, "Each of you deserves to graduate from this Faculty and to practice your dream profession of veterinary medicine as a result of your efforts. I can easily say that the education you have received here will carry you far ahead of those who graduated from equivalent departments in terms of competence. However, it is important to remember that university life is not limited to theoretical knowledge, and that the vision and experience you have gained here during these 5 years are also a part of the education you have received. At this point, I believe that you will closely experience the privilege of Selçuk University in your future professional life. I hope that the diplomas of our young people who have set their goals for the future, who have adopted the motto of being beneficial to their nation and all humanity and who do not hesitate to act for this purpose will be beneficial."

Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Seyfullah Haliloğlu stated that the diplomas presented to the students are the keys that will open the doors of their professional life and that as a faculty, they are proud to give graduates who are raised like a gem and who love their homeland and nation.
