Selçuk University's hydromobile vehicle "Kürşat" was greatly appreciated

Selçuk University, which is an example with its scientific studies and projects, also makes significant contributions to the National Technology Move and the Century of Türkiye vision initiated under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The hydromobile vehicle named "Kürşat" and was prepared by the students of the Faculty of Technology attracts great attention at TEKNOFEST Izmir.

 

Selçuk University Faculty of Technology Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Dr. Hakan Terzioğlu said that hydrogen technology is of great importance today and that the vehicle they developed can reach a maximum speed of 70 kilometers and drive for 1 hour with the existing battery system. Reminding that the vehicle named "Kürşat" competed in the Electric Vehicles Hydromobile category at TEKNOFEST, Terzioğlu said, “This vehicle, with its engine, battery control system, energy management system, was created with the efforts of 15 students in the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Selçuk University Faculty of Technology."

 

Emphasizing that they are working to support the National Technology Move, Terzioğlu said, “We strive to realize the dreams of our students on this path we have embarked on, with the support of our Rector Prof.Dr.Metin Aksoy.Kürşat is a national and local tool in terms of software and design.Our vehicle is based on the conversion of compressed hydrogen into electrical energy and a battery-powered system.The engine used has a power of 3 kw and has a completely local and national feature with its design and analysis."

 

Stating that the students worked day and night at the Automotive Technologies Application and Research Center to prepare the vehicle, Terzioğlu said, “As Selçuk University, we strive to raise self-confident, team-spirited, highly technically equipped engineers who will take an active part in the Century of Türkiye.We are working to fully fulfill the responsibility we have taken to raise a generation that serves its country, its homeland and its nation."
