A cooperation protocol was signed between Selcuk University, Selcuklu Municipality and Selcuklu District Directorate of National Education aimed at improving the physical environment of imam hatip schools, using renewable energy sources and improving the quality of education.

 

The protocol aims to reduce opportunity differences between schools, ensure equality of opportunity in education, improve the physical environment of educational institutions, encourage the use of renewable energy resources and improve the quality of education. Within the scope of the protocol, students studying at the Department of Interior Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of Selcuk University will design a total of 190 areas in 36 schools designated, including 21 imam hatip secondary schools and 15 anatolian imam hatip high schools in the Selcuklu district in the first place. Arabic English and Arabic foreign language workshops, recitation class, student and administrative entrance, teachers' room, corridors, guidance service, mosque, science laboratory, student and administrative entrance, 24 different units will be designed within the scope of the study. An exhibition will be held in May where presentations of all the projects prepared within the scope of the study will be made. Selçuklu Municipality will contribute to the project budget in order to implement the designs agreed by the parties in schools and cover the project expenses.

This project will make significant contributions to the students' interest in the lessons and their activities aimed at improving themselves." said.

It was worked out very well before, tests were carried out, applications were seen on the field, needs were determined.
