Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITC) Executive Committee Member and Turkmen Minister Aydın Maruf visited Selçuk University Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci.

Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, Deputy Rector of Selçuk University, made a statement about the Higher Education Anatolia Project during the visit at the Rectorate office. Stating that Selçuk University will share its knowledge and experience with Bitlis Eren University and Ardahan University within the scope of the project, Prof. Dr. Çiftci said that the vaccination program under the leadership of the Ministry of Health in Turkiye continues rapidly and that a serious decrease in the number of cases has been recorded.

Prof. Dr. Çiftci said that there are two separate vaccine studies being conducted by Selçuk University within this framework and that the introduction of the vaccines will provide a great advantage for Türkiye and sister countries.

Explaining that the graduated young people make important contributions to the development of the country, Maruf pointed out that some of the Iraqi Turkmens stay in Türkiye after their education. Maruf noted that Konya is among the cities rich in historical and cultural aspects. Stating that there are suitable cities for students in Turkey, Maruf added that Konya is one of these cities.
