Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of International Relations had a graduation excitement. 286 students who successfully completed their 4-year undergraduate education received their diplomas at a ceremony attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

The graduation ceremony of Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of International Relations was held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center. Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Göküş, Dean of Beyşehir Ali Akkanat Faculty of Business Prof. Dr. Fatih Mangır, academicians, students and parents attended the ceremony.

"YOU SHOULD DEVELOP YOURSELF IN THE LIGHT OF SCIENCE"

Addressing the students first in his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Göküş said, "You are graduating from the Department of International Relations of Selçuk University, one of Turkey's well-established universities with a strong faculty. You should develop yourself in the light of science in your professional life. When you face difficulties, your mind, will and the education you have received will be the key to success. Thanks to the efforts of our Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy and his administration, the deficiencies in the distance education system were quickly completed. Thus, our students were given the necessary training without being victimized and had the opportunity to graduate with sufficient equipment."

Stating that he has been a faculty member of the Department of International Relations for 13 years, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "The more I feel the difference of the students of the Department of International Relations, which is the pride of the Selçuk University family, the more proud I am. All units within our university have made efforts to provide the best education to our students, including the distance education process. Our university has gained the identity of a university that is the locomotive of the region and undertakes important missions. With 70 thousand students and 7 thousand staff, it is a university that dominates our region. As a pioneer in scientific research, Selçuk University is among the top 16 universities in Turkey in this field. Our students receive education at international standards. All units of our university strive to be accredited. Graduates of Selçuk University should continue their lives by determining their priorities. First of all, they should start with the blessings of their parents. We raise our young people by blending the foundations of the Turkish-Islamic ideal."

Following the speeches, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy handed the certificate of Ayşenur Çınar, the 31st semester valedictorian of the Department of International Relations at Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, to her classmate Hüma Niyazkaramay. The ceremony ended with a cap throwing ceremony.
