Famous Kazakh music group Turan gave a concert at Selçuk University within the scope of "100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic".

Deans, directors of colleges and vocational schools, academic staff and students attended the concert at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center.

Turan Band, consisting of Serik Nurmoldaev, Baurjan Bekmuhanbet, Maksat Medeubek, Erjigit Aliyev and Jantu Dadabaev, received great applause from the guests with their works.

 "Great Turan Forever", performed by the group, tells about the heroism of the Turkic peoples, the historical events they experienced and that the Turanian generation will exist forever.

The Swan described in the song "Swan" by composer and singer Nurgisa Tilendiyev, performed by the group, is considered a symbol of wealth, goodness, compassion, nobility and love.

The first work of the Turan group, "Kazakh People", describes the nature of the steppe where Kazakhs live, the lifestyle, traditions and heroism of the people.
