Selçuk University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition organized a Career Day to connect students with the industry in line with its accreditation goals.
The guest speaker at the event was Dr. Hakan Ertiftik, founder of Doğer Kimya Tarım Limited Şirketi, who stands out for his experience in the industry and is also a graduate of the department.
Sharing his own entrepreneurial story and the practical knowledge he gained through his company, Ertiftik conveyed to students what they should pay attention to when entering the workforce, the dynamics of working in a small and medium-sized company, and career opportunities in the field of Soil Science.
Following the presentation, students had the opportunity to ask questions about any topics they were curious about. Hakan Ertiftik sincerely answered the questions directed at him, providing valuable tips for their professional journey after graduation and serving as a source of inspiration for them.
This meeting, organized by the Department, was a productive day for students to reinforce their theoretical education with practical experience and communicate directly with a prominent figure in the industry.
