7th International Different Natural Stone Design Competition awards again to Selçuk!

Organized within the scope of the 30th Marble İzmir International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, the prototypes of the 25 finalist projects of the 7th International Different Natural Stone Competition were produced by natural stone manufacturers.

Of the 25 finalist designs, 6 of them were produced by the students of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design. The award-winning designs were determined on the first day of the Marble Izmir Fair by international jury members who are experts in their fields.

The students of our department;

Nisa Nur Gülmez and Zeynep Bakırcı won the First Prize with their design named FİDES,

Ayşe Karakaya and Zehra Sultan Salman won the Company Special Award with their design named SOLİ,

Ayşenaz Yazıcı and Gözde Gündoğdu won the Holiday Special Award with their design named SONSUZ and Tuğçe Sevcan Gördün and Muhammet Taha Yılmaz won the Holiday Special Award with their design named MARBLOK.

Thus, our students won a total of 4 awards, including the first prize, out of the 13 awards given in the competition. We congratulate our students and our academic staff who contributed.
