Faculty of Health Sciences

Department History

Our Department of Healthcare Management constitutes a significant milestone within the development process of our Faculty, which has a deeply rooted history. Konya School of Health, which started its education and training activities by the Council of Ministers decision dated 10.10.1996 and numbered 96/8655, was renamed the Faculty of Health Sciences on 05.02.2010.

As a part of this dynamic transformation and development process, the Department of Healthcare Management commenced its educational activities by admitting its first students in 2009.

Aiming to train well-equipped, visionary, and contemporary healthcare managers needed by the healthcare sector since its establishment, our department has grown rapidly with both its theoretical and practical educational infrastructure. Today, our department resolutely continues its educational journey as a strong and large academic family with nearly 500 students in total across both Regular (Daytime) and Evening Education programs.

Within the 8000 m2 indoor area of our Faculty, our students prepare for the future in a qualified campus environment by utilizing modern classrooms, seminar and meeting rooms, and social facilities. With its dynamic academic staff and ever-growing student profile, the Department of Healthcare Management continues its vision of being a leading center of education in the field of healthcare management.
