SU Student Societies received great acclaim at the Victory Day celebrations

The Traditional Archery Group and the Anatolian Caucasian Eagles Group, which continue their activities within the body of Selçuk University (SU), attended the ceremony held in Konya as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the 30 August Victory Day. Student societies received intense applause from the participants with their performances.

In the ceremonies attended by Selcuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr.  Emrullah Eken, a wreath was first presented to the Atatürk Monument. Afterwards, congratulations were received at the Governor's Office.

Afterwards, different presentations were made on Feritpaşa Street, mainly folk dance performances and poetry vocalizations on the meaning and importance of the day. Selcuk University Traditional Archery Ensemble and Anatolian Caucasian Eagles Ensemble also presented their shows within this framework. The performances were highly appreciated by the participants.

Citizens watched the events, which ended with a parade, with Turkish flags in their hands.
