Prof. Dr. Aksoy: We are always with our students

Selcuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 2022 - 2023 Academic Year Academic Board Meeting was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy. Stating that they attach great importance to scientific studies and academic thinking, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, “We always stand by our students in order to invest in the future of our country.” said.

At the 2022 - 2023 Academic Year Academic Board Meeting of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Selçuk University, firstly the department heads and the Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet Göküş gave information about the activities and targets carried out.

“WE MOVED OUR UNIVERSITY TO BETTER POINTS” 

Stating that they are striving to carry the flag they received to the highest ranks, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, “Many steps have been taken to improve the physical spaces on our campus and faculties. We are striving for Selçuk University, which is the apple of the eye of Konya to provide education at international standards. We attach importance to scientific studies and academic thinking. The change we made in our BAP directive contributed to the betterment of our University. We supported the accreditation processes in faculties. All these steps help our internationalization. We have created a University by combining the accountability of the state and the rapid mobility of the private sector. Our occupancy rate has reached 99 percent. There is a lot of trust in our university now. Successful young people of our country, those who are in the top 20, prefer our University.” 

“WE ARE ALWAYS WITH OUR STUDENTS” 

Expressing that serious investments have been made to ensure digital transformation, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, “In this way, we got through distance education without any problems. Despite the economic crisis that emerged with the pandemic, our students whose projects we support; achieved great success in the international arena at TEKNOFEST. We have always stood by our students in order to invest in the future of our country. We have taken the necessary steps to enable nearly 300 disabled students and disabled personnel at our university to work in a more comfortable environment. Our academics, whom we support scientifically and improve their personal rights; We should protect our students, our university, who are the future of our country, work for the success of our country, and take the responsibility.”
