234 students at SU Faculty of Medicine wore their white coats

There was an excitement of wearing white coat at Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine. 234 first-year students were dressed in aprons by their teachers. The first lecture to future physicians was given by Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan.

Selcuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selvi, Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan, Selcuk University Medical Faculty Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Mustafa Koplay, lecturers, students and their families attended the ceremony.

Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selvi said, “Let your focus be on improving yourself. Look for ways to be resilient, resilient like a bamboo tree. Never stray from your roots, act according to our past and do not go to extremes. Be discreet. Always consult your teachers when you are in trouble. Have a life plan, do not act without a plan. Stating that the color white is one of the pages that one should open in one's own life, Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci said, “Here, we are opening a new page on behalf of our students who won the Faculty of Medicine with great success. I congratulate you all. You are in the young Faculty of a well-established University. Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine is a faculty that can give you serious education and life lessons. Do your job well, try to enjoy what you do. So success will surely come. May you have different doors in your life. Create places where you can relax. You can deal with music, instruments, sports.” he said.

The consultant of the SU Capsule the Guardians of Heart Team, which was runner up in the category of "Technology Contest for the Benefit of Humanity, Health and First Aid" at TEKNOFEST 2022, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation Prof. Dr. İnci Kara and her team members were presented their awards and certificates of appreciation by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ilhan Ciftci.

Later in the program, 234 first-year students were dressed in aprons by their teachers. The first lesson of the 2022 - 2023 academic year with the title of "Pride of Being a Physician in Turkey" was given by Gazi University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Necmi İlhan.
