FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE PREPARES FOR ITS ANNIVERSARY

Prof. Dr. Seyfullah Haliloğlu explained that they would organize a series of events in the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with the Faculty Festivities and stated that the program they would organize in this context includes the commemoration event of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, football, table tennis, volleyball tournaments, career days, white coat dressing ceremony, veterinary faculty scientific incentive awards and orientation event.

Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Rector of Selçuk University, stated that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is among the pioneering faculties and said, "We always see our Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as a pioneer in the work we are trying to do throughout our university. Together with our Faculty of Medicine in the field of health, our Faculty of Veterinary Medicine directly contacts the public and is always a pioneer in serving the society. Our students get organized in Manavgat fire. We sent our young veterinarians and assistants with our friends. It is also valuable for us as it is a faculty that closes the gap in many areas of society."

WE HAVE REACHED A DONATION OF 100 MILLION LIRAS

Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy noted that Selçuk University  works with the aim of becoming the science and research base of the region and said, "We provide education and try to support the international efforts of our academicians. With today’s numbers, the share we transfer from BAP resources to our academics has exceeded 25 million and will reach 30 million liras by the end of the year. We have saved in many areas, but we have never saved at the point of supporting the research and work of our academics. Public resources should be used efficiently. As the trust of the children of the nation, we want the resources to be used in a good way. We supported the dreams of our academics. We established Turkey's first simulation training center among state universities in the field of health. How did we establish it? We cooperated with our Ahmet Keleşoğlu Foundation. We went, we met, we demanded. We established it with 20 million liras of funding. Today, Selçuk University has received 100 million liras in donations from 2021 to this year. While doing this, we also supported scientific studies and increasing the quality of education and training. Many of our units received YÖKAK accreditation." 

WE TRY TO RAISE OUR STUDENTS IN THE BEST WAY

Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that they make intensive efforts for the scientific development of Selcuk University. Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said: "We  live with the dreams and works of Prof. Dr. Osman Erganiş 's project together. While establishing the Gene Center, the Phase Center, we  work together with our friends. While doing this, our Faculty of Veterinary Medicine works together with our friends from the drama school of our Faculty of Education to the library of our Faculty of Letters. We strive to raise the best students in this system. When Selcuk University is mentioned in the region, we want it to be a university that supports scientific studies and at the same time increases the quality of the output produced by the University and increases its brand value."
