Selcuk University (SU) Faculty of Communication Wins the TRT Future Communicators Competition
Selcuk University (SU) Faculty of Communication became the faculty with the most awards and 3 first places in the TRT Future Communicators Competition organized by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT).
In the TRT Future Communicators Competition, which is organized with the aim of contributing to the educational activities of university students who will be the communicators of the future with a human and value-oriented approach and encouraging them to produce quality products with different contents such as radio broadcasting, visual broadcasting, digital broadcasting and communication campaign categories took place. 2 thousand 213 students from 115 universities applied to the competition with 1,615 works. As a result of the preliminary evaluation, 201 students with 131 works from 47 universities made it to the finals.
SU WAS THE WINNER OF 5 AWARDS, 3 OF WHICH WAS FIRST PLACE
SU Faculty of Communication students won awards for 42 works from 20 universities in the radio documentary, radio drama and radio program categories in the radio broadcasting category; it received awards in 5 different categories, including documentary films and short films in the visual broadcasting category. The works and names that received awards in the competition, in which SU Communication Faculty won the most first place, are as follows:
Sefa Akbulut and Arda Mert Kandemir won the first prize with their work "Dilemma" in the Short Film category.
Hamza Dursun won the first prize with his work "Roots" in the Radio Drama category.
Buse Kara won the first prize with her project named "Life Givers" in the Radio Program category.
Ali Kaan Altun won the second prize with his work "Carton Houses" in the documentary film genre.
Yusuf Altuğ and Habib Can Sevgin won the third prize with their work "Muhtar Ana" in the Radio Documentary category.
