Turkish Independence Day Painting Exhibition at Selcuk University

20 works prepared by Selçuk University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department lecturers were presented to art lovers at the 29 October Inependence Day Memorial Exhibition.

Selcuk University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department Head Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dalkıran stated, in his speech, that they came together in the exhibition they organized to commemorate the 29 October Independence Day. Stating that 20 works of the lecturers of the painting department were presented to art lovers in the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Dalkıran said, “We traditionally open such kind of exhibitions every year. Our exhibition is one of them. The works in the exhibition consist of original subjects that our teachers work in the field of original art. There is no unity of subject in this sense. We congratulate our participating teachers for their works. We would like to thank our University administration and our Dean for their contribution and support.”

Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Ali Atıf Polat wished the exhibition to be beneficial and thanked those who contributed to the organization.

The painting exhibition, with the participation of lecturers and students, can be visited until 6 November 2022.
