Rector Aksoy participated in the Dar-ül Mulk Project Promotion Program

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy participated in the promotion program "Dar-ül Mülk - Turkey's Biggest Revival Project" organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

AK Party Konya Deputies Leyla Şahin Usta, Ziya Altunyaldız, Selman Özboyacı, Hacı Ahmet Özdemir, Gülay Samancı, Ahmet Sorgun, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, Chief Public Prosecutor Halil İnal, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Rector of Konya Technical University Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, Necmettin Erbakan University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Doğan, district mayors, representatives of political parties and NGOs and many guests attended.

In his speech, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay made statements about the new projects to be made in Konya. Stating that they continue to implement projects worthy of Dar-ül Mülk, Altay said, “Today is a historical day for our Konya. In our historical city center urban transformation project, we will unearth Dar-ül Mülk, rebuild the Seljuk capital and add a unique value to our civilization heritage. We are carrying out 20 different urban renewal, transformation and restoration works in our historical city center as part of the Dar-ül Mülk Project, where we work with the most important architects of Turkey.”
