INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION STUDENT SYMPOSIUM" WAS HELD AT SU

International Technology and Innovation Student Symposium" was organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Technology, Akşehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and National and Local Sancak Community.

The opening speech of the International Technology and Innovation Student Symposium held at the Selçuk University Museum Building Conference Hall was delivered by Dr. Lecturer Hakan Terzioğlu from the Faculty of Technology. Prof. Hakan Terzioğlu made the opening speech. Stating that Turkey's 2023 goals include raising qualified, ethical individuals who are equipped with the skills of the era and the future with the National Technology Move, who can use this equipment for the good of humanity, who are in love with science, who are curious and sensitive to culture, and who are qualified. Prof. Hakan Terzioğlu said, "Our university acts with the awareness of raising engineers who have a love for our country, who have a word for these lands, and who have a say in line with the goals of our country."

"WE ARE ALWAYS BY OUR STUDENTS' SIDE"

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Vice Rector of Selcuk University, said: "We are striving to make our university more effective and to bring it to a better place among the universities in our country and internationally. At this point, we have come a long way. Technology and engineering are the most important fields. In the field of engineering, we ranked seventh in Turkey in URAP's September ranking. We would like to thank our professors at the Faculty of Technology and Aksehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Our students have achieved significant success in the field of technology. The success at TEKNOFEST is the proof of this. This success is very important not only for our university but also for our country. As the administration of Selcuk University, we always stand by our students."

"WE TRUST THE YOUTH THAT WILL COME AFTER US"

Selçuk University Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk said, "As the university administration, we attach great importance to the studies, researches and projects carried out by our academicians. At the same time, we fully support the young people who will take our place. We trust the youth who will come after us. We have the potential to compete with the world and raise strong generations in every field."

After the speeches, Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat was awarded the Prof. Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Hakan Terzioğlu and SU Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk was presented a plaque of appreciation by Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Technology.

The symposium continued with presentations on Engineering Careers and Future of Energy Innovation and Technology.
