Selcuk University students meets special students

Selcuk University (SU) Health Services Vocational School (MYO) Therapy and Rehabilitation Department Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Program students came together with the special education class students of Tepekent Primary School in Selçuklu district within the scope of "December 3, World Disabled Day".

SU Health Services Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Gülşin Arslan said, in her speech at the program, that December 3 was determined by the United Nations as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in 1992 to draw attention to the problems of people with disabilities. Prof. Dr. Arslan said, “It is known that the obstacles in our country and in the world are environmental problems. We must work together to prepare a livable environment for you. Let 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities be a day when we can look to the future with hope. We would like to thank our Professor Dr.Mustafa Güler for organizing the event, the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Program students, Tepekent Primary School Principal, valuable guests who participated in our event, the Association for Children Without Toys and the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation”
