Prof. Dr. Aksoy attended the 3rd Turkish-Arab Business Summit Consultation Meeting

International Business Forum (IBF) 3rd Turkish - Arab Business Summit will be held in Konya on 5 - 7 May 2023. Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy also attended the negotiation meeting of the summit.

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy  Necmettin Erbakan University Rector Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu, Konya Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, Secretary General of KTO Karatay University Murat Ayvacı, Konya Provincial Mufti Prof. Dr. Ali Öge, International Business Forum (IBF) President Erol Yarar, MUSIAD Konya Branch President Mehmet Hilmi Kağnıcı and MUSIAD members attended the International Business Forum (IBF) 3rd Turkish - Arab Business Summit Consultation Meeting held at the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Konya Branch.

THE TOPIC OF THE SUMMIT, FOOD SAFETY AND GENERATION CONSERVATION

Stating that businessmen in the Islamic world should work in an organized manner, International Business Forum (IBF) President Erol Yarar said, “Food safety is the number one agenda item in the world. Wars and climate change are limiting factors for people's access to food. The main topic of the 3rd Turkish-Arab Business Summit, which we will hold in Konya in May, will be 'Food Safety and Generation Conservation'. A food produced in America can change genes. Developments in gene technology, unfortunately, are very advanced in this regard. We need to take our place in the struggle of humanity.”

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy also said, “As Selcuk University, we are a university that is in the process of change in Konya. We have the most rooted Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Turkey. Selcuk University is now a University that can produce its own seeds. We are an experienced University that is a pioneer in many fields of agriculture. Hosting the Islamic Solidarity Games, our University brought together scientists from the Islamic world and organized symposiums and conferences. We are ready to contribute to the Turkish Arab Business Summit.”

In the congress titled Food Safety and Preservation of the Generation, which will be held as part of the 3rd Turkish - Arab Business Summit, which will bring together industrialists, entrepreneurs and investors, the issue of food safety will be examined in all aspects and the reliability of food, which is as important as access to food, and the importance of halal food will be emphasized.
