Rector Prof. Dr. Aksoy met with Indonesian students

Students studying at Selcuk University within the scope of Indonesia International Exchange Program (IISMA) visited Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

Having a conversation with Indonesian students for a while, Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said: “Founded in 1975, Selçuk University is one of the leading universities in the region. We have included the Indonesian International Exchange Program (IISMA) in our University for the first time. We want to continue this program. In the coming years, we aim to host students from Indonesia at our university. You are at our University to study in the fields of agriculture and technology. Konya is an important agricultural center of Turkey. You can improve yourself in this area, especially in Konya and its surroundings. Visiting these places will give you a lot of experience.”

The Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards, called IIVOSMA, IISMA or IISMAVO, is supported by the Indonesian government. Students’ flight, accommodation and tuition fees are covered by Indonesia. Students who come to Selçuk University in September within the scope of the program receive education at the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Technology. The trainings will end in January 2023. In the Fall Semester of 2022 - 2023, 9 Indonesian students came to the Faculty of Technology and 2 to the Faculty of Agriculture
