'Current Approaches in Colorectal Surgery' course at Selçuk University

The course program on "Current Approaches in Colorectal Surgery" organized by Selçuk University and Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery (TKRCD) was started. In the 2-day course program, se Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İlhan Çiftci expressed his pleasure at being involved in an important program organized in cooperation with the Turkish Colon and Rectum Surgery Association, at the opening program of the course held at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center. Stating that as Selçuk University, they provide important services in the field of health with the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Akşehir Kadir Yallagöz School of Health and Vocational School of Health Services. Dr. Çiftci said, “We are pleased that such organizations within health education are held at our University and we are proud to attend the meetings. “I hope such programs will continue and our course will be useful.” said.ssions on "Colon Cancer", "Rectal Cancer", "Proctology" and "Pelvic Floor Diseases" will be held.

“WE AIM TO INCREASE PATIENT SERVICE QUALITY” 

TKRCD President Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kuzu also said that their aim is to raise the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal diseases to certain standards throughout Türkiye. Stating that they aim to increase the quality of service provided to patients, Prof. Dr. Kuzu said, “We have raised the level of our work as an association. We are also offering a qualification exam this year. We aim to increase the equipment of the people growing up in our country and to increase the quality of patient service through the quality of information. I would like to thank my colleagues for their participation in the course program and wish the course to be successful.”

Prof. Dr. İlker Sücüllü, TKRCD Courses Officer, gave information about the courses organized by the association. Prof. Dr. Sücüllü thanked Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Acar, Faculty Member of Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine, TKRCD Course Chairman and those who contributed to the realization of the course program titled "Current Approaches in Colorectal Surgery".

The course program continued with the "Colon Cancer" session chaired by Prof. Dr. Adil Kartal and Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kuzu.
