1/23/2025 Coordinatorship of Corporate Communication

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy visited the Faculty of Architecture and Design, which produces textile products and toys for earthquake victims.

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy  thanked the faculty members who worked in line with the needs of earthquake victims and said: “Our country experienced a major earthquake disaster. As Selçuk University, we took care to be on the field from the first moment of the earthquake. We continue to support our earthquake victims in many areas, especially in social and health areas, both through our doctors in our hospital and other friends. We strive to alleviate their pain, even just a little. There are many steps we have taken in this sense, but of course, with various financial aids. We also support our students affected by the earthquake within the scope of Erol Güngör Scholarship. In-kind aid has continued since the first day. On the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day, our faculty members came together and tried to attach importance to our earthquake victims in our workshops and contributed. As a university, we will continue to support our earthquake victims. “It is very important that this is sustainable.”

SU Faculty of Architecture and Design Dean Prof. Dr. Rabia Köse Doğan said: “We have been producing for earthquake victims for about a month. "We delivered over a thousand products to earthquake victims and their attendants staying in KYK dormitories, our University dormitories, and our University's Faculty of Medicine Hospital."

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. attended the program. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk and faculty members attended.
