Selçuk University signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" with Iraq Northern Technical University

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy and Iraq Northern Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar signed the "Memorandum of Understanding" between the two universities.

Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy made a speech about Selçuk University and its application areas. Stating that they would be pleased to work with Iraq Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated the importance of collaborations that will contribute to academic culture, as well as student exchange programs.

Prof. Dr. Aksoy said that as a university, they are sensitive to the training of students in practical areas as well as theoretical knowledge: “We hope that our graduating students will be preferred students in the field. We strive to graduate by teaching with applied modern education. “We strive to raise good generations that will contribute to the future of our country and friendly countries.”

Rector of Iraq Northern Technical University  Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Ali Al-Attar also expressed his satisfaction in cooperating with Selçuk University. Providing information about the work they carried out as a university, Prof. Dr. Al-Attar made statements about their cooperation with different institutions and organizations. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enable postdoctoral researchers to participate in exchange programs in order to carry out academic staff exchange, student exchange and scientific research. It is also planned to invite faculty members of the two universities to scientific programs such as conferences, symposiums and workshops, to organize video conference events and to carry out different research projects through joint financing.
