Selçuk University met with disaster victims at 'Healthy Nutrition' event

Selçuk University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics organized an event on "Healthy Nutrition" for disaster victims. Within the scope of the program where information about healthy nutrition was given, food groups game and coloring activity were also held with children.

Prof. Dr. Nazan Aktaş, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, said that they met with families and children in an important event. Prof. Dr. Aktaş stated that the lecturers as well as the 4th year students of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics contributed to the organization of the event and said, "As the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Faculty of Health Sciences, interviews were held with the families of earthquake victims staying in Sadreddin Konevi LDA Girls' Dormitory about what they wondered about healthy nutrition. Body composition analyzes were measured. In addition, food groups game and coloring activities were carried out for our children to have a pleasant time."
