Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts received 7 awards

Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts won 7 awards at the 5th International Different Natural Stone Design Competition organized within the scope of Marble İzmir - 28th International Natural Stone and Technologies Fair, one of the largest natural stone fairs in the world.

Out of one thousand 72 design applications received from 15 countries and 60 universities including Turkey, 28 of them made it to the finals. Students of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design signed 10 of the finalist designs.

Elif Karaca, one of the students of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design, won the first prize with her project named "Slope", Emine Kutlu won the second prize with her work named "Kandil" and Nihal Soykan won the third prize with her work named "Muji".

Muhammet Taha Yılmaz won the EIB Special Award with his project "Düşeş", İnşirah Ergün won the Company Special Award with "Hengin", Menekşe Ban won the Company Special Award with her project "Pillar" and Kübra Taşkın won the Company Special Award with her project "Rotate For Four".
