Rector Aksoy met with TEKNOFEST teams

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy met with the teams competing in TEKNOFEST Istanbul.

Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said that they met in an important organization. Expressing his satisfaction with the interest of young people in the competitions, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "As Selçuk University, we are trying to support the studies carried out within the framework of the National Technology Move. At this point, we care about the continuation of the visions presented."
Stating that they first analyzed the status of the teams during the preparation process for the competitions, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, "I think we have prepared seriously. We participated with 66 teams and we are one of the rare universities in terms of the number of team participation. We have been among the stakeholder universities since the first day of TEKNOFEST. We are a university that supports the competition and participates extensively."

Explaining that it is extremely valuable for students to see that their projects are supported in competitions rather than getting degrees and achieving certain first places in competitions, Prof. Dr. Aksoy said: "32 of our 66 teams are now in TEKNOFEST Final. As of now, we have 5 ranked teams among our 32 teams. The competitions of some of our teams continue during the day. We have projects and competitions whose results will be announced tomorrow. We received nearly 15 awards last year, and I think we will reach the same number this year."
