TUBITAK Project to be developed under the leadership of Selçuk University
Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Osman Erganiş and his team will be the project coordinator within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program High Technology Platforms Call - "Prevention and Treatment National Platform" Research Program.
In the TÜBİTAK 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program High Technology Platforms 2021 Call, 13 different projects were evaluated by Dokuz Eylül, Ege, Istanbul Technical and Selçuk Universities, Atabay İlaç AŞ and Petroyağ AŞ under the management of Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center.
As of 2023, the contract phases of 12 High Technology Platform projects were completed with the signing ceremony held at TEKNOFEST Istanbul at Atatürk Airport.
Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Lect. Prof. Dr. Osman Erganiş and faculty members of the Department of Microbiology will take part in 1 project as an executive and 1 project as a researcher within the Vaccine Development Application and Research Center. The project numbered 22AGO79, in which Selçuk University is the project coordinator, will last for 4 years.
TÜBİTAK 1004 Center of Excellence Support Program operates on supporting research programs that are carried out domestically in priority areas determined within the scope of national goals and policies, have traceable targets, have scientific quality, and have high commercialization potential in order to specialize and become a center of excellence by cooperating with higher education institutions research infrastructures, R&D / design centers and public R&D units.
