Selcuk University staff win gold medal

Selçuk University staff and national athlete Abdullah Ilgaz won the gold medal in the high jump at the Para Athletics 2023 Open Jesolo Grand Prix in Italy.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation, 898 athletes from 55 countries participated in the organization in Jesolo, Italy. National athletes completed the organization with 14 medals. Selçuk University staff and national athlete Abdullah Ilgaz won the gold medal in the T45-T46-T47 category in the high jump branch in the Para-Athletics 2023 Open Jesolo Grand Prix Dam Competition. Abdullah Ilgaz, who graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Sports Sciences and works as a staff member at the University, successfully represents our country in national and international competitions with coach Abdullah Sarı.
