Rector Aksoy examined the Faculty of Science laboratories

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Science and the renovated student activity area.

In this context, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy visited the Supercritical Fluid (CO2) Extraction Laboratory, Thermogravimetric Analysis Laboratory, Air Conditioning Laboratory, Spectroscopy Laboratory and Molecular Biology Research Laboratory. Prof. Dr. Aksoy also visited the Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory, Physiology Biochemistry Research Laboratory and Molecular Plant Biology Research Laboratory and received information from the faculty members and students working in the laboratory.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy stated that young people are the future of Türkiye. Prof. Dr. Aksoy stated that they strive to raise students in the best conditions, depending on the culture of national and local studies, and wished the faculty members and students success in their studies.

In the Faculty of Science, which has 49 research laboratories, Spectroscopy (FTIR, UV, Fluorescence) Laboratory and Thermogravimetric Analysis Laboratory (TGA) provide services to researchers and different sectors. In the newly opened Supercritical Fluid (CO2) Extraction Laboratory, which is provided with the infrastructure support of Selçuk University Scientific Research Projects, healthy, safe and high quality extract production can be realized at low temperature without using any solvent.

After visiting the laboratories, Prof. Dr. Aksoy visited the renovated student activity area with table tennis, chess and foosball tables and chatted with the staff and students preparing for graduation.
