Iraq Northern Technical University delegation visited Selçuk University

The Northern Technical University of Iraq delegation, which came to Konya for the 2nd International Nineveh Medical Sciences Conference to be hosted by Selçuk University, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.The delegation also visited the application centers within the University and received information.

Rector of Northern Technical University of Iraq Prof. Dr. Alyaa A. Al-Attar and the accompanying delegation first met with Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy.

Reminding that they had various contacts in Kirkuk last year, Vice Rector Prof.Dr.İlhan Çiftci said, “During our visit, we laid the foundations of our conference.We also visited various universities.We signed mutual cooperation protocols.We also have a protocol with Northern Technical University.Our Faculty of Medicine is an internationally accredited medical school.For this reason, it is among the few faculties in Türkiye in terms of education and health services.”

Northern Technical University Rector Prof.Dr.Alyaa A. Al-Attar also said, “I would like to thank Selçuk University for its hospitality.I'm very happy to be here.Rector Prof.Dr.Metin Aksoy visited us in Kirkuk.We signed an agreement.Thank you for the support they gave us.We need your support for our students.”

Emphasizing that his visit to Iraq was filled with good memories, Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, “We felt closely the hospitality, brotherhood and what it means to be warmly welcomed. I would like to thank the people of Iraq and our brothers there. It is our duty to establish direct dialogue and cooperate with universities in our nearby geography. The important thing is to prevent the separation that may occur between societies with this unity. Our unity and cooperation are very valuable. We are proud of our Selçuk University. It is an exemplary university in Türkiye with its applications in various fields. We are happy to host the scientists coming from and are going to come from Iraq, to educate students and to collaborate in the future."

Iraq Northern Technical University delegation visited the Anatomy Laboratory at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine, Azıza Bustonova Student Laboratory, Cell Culture Laboratory, Medical Genetics Department Polyclinic and Laboratory, Molecular Genetics Laboratory, Preparation Laboratory, Biochemistry Laboratory, Medical Biochemistry Laboratory, Advanced Technology Laboratory and Medical Microbiology Laboratory and at the Faculty of Dentistry, the delegation visited the Restorative Dentistry Polyclinic and Pedodontics Polyclinic and received information from the authorities.
