Students from 11 different universities were given education at Selçuk University
16 graduate students from 11 different universities attended the training organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A supported project titled "Initiating Early Kangaroo Care and Breastfeeding in the Birth Room with Simulation-Based Training", carried out by Selçuk University Faculty of Nursing Lecturer Prof. Dr. Sibel Küçükoğlu.
Selçuk University, Faculty of Nursing, Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing, Lecturer Prof.Dr.Sibel Küçükoğlu said “Our students attending our course will first be given theoretical training, and then they will have one-on-one applications in our rooms in the Simulation Center.If kangaroo care and breastfeeding initiation takes place in the delivery room, the success of continuation, maintenance and training, or the success of continuing with breast milk, will increase.This year, many 2237 project applications were made to TÜBİTAK.They were subjected to serious elimination.TÜBİTAK covers the expenses of our students participating in the training."
The course "Initiating Early Kangaroo Care and Breastfeeding in the Birth Room with Simulation-Based Training", held at Selçuk University Selçuk Pharmaceutical Warehouse Simulation Training Center, will end on October 6.
