Orientation Program started at Selcuk University

Orientation Program was organized for the new students of Selçuk University. On the first day of the 2-day event, folk dances, music concert, sports activities, competitions and stage activities were organized.

 Rector of Selçuk University Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Kamil Beşoluk, Deputy Secretary General Hikmet Özdemir, deans, directors of colleges and vocational schools, academic staff, representatives of public institutions and organizations and students attended the program held in front of Keykubad Mansion. The program started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem and continued with a folk dance performance.

Addressing the students, Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy said, "We are happy to be together with our students. It is a privilege to study at Selçuk University. You will see this privilege clearly when you graduate. With the Orientation Program, you will have the opportunity to get to know our University, our city and the student communities at our University. You will improve yourself with the activities. We are happy to serve our University where you can study in a spacious environment. The achievements of our academicians and international projects will differentiate your vision and will make a great contribution to you while studying at our University. Selçuk University is the shining star of Anatolia and a university that protects Anatolian values and raises young people with Anatolian values."

Rector Prof. Dr. Aksoy presented a plaque to Kardelen Keseri, the first student to enroll in Selçuk University in the 2023 - 2024 academic year, and visited the Narco Truck and the stands.
