'My Bicycle Was Blue' theater play staged at Selçuk University

The theater play titled "My Bicycle Was Blue" prepared by Selçuk University Faculty of Dentistry met with theater lovers within the scope of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Abdullah Kalaycı, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Semahat Küçükkolbaşı, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Prof. Dr. Rabia Köse Doğan, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Onur Köksal, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Emine Arslan, academic and administrative staff, students and theater lovers attended the one-act play staged at Sultan Alparslan Cultural Center.

The theater piece written by Dinçer Sümer was performed at Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Küçükkolbaşı, Faculty of Dentistry, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Hüseyin member of Faculty of Dentistry Şen.

The play received great appreciation from the participants with its story of music, sea, love and friendship. The play, which is about a man's longing for Izmir, where he spent his early youth, and his journey to the memories of a man who follows in the footsteps of his first love, takes theater lovers from 1950s Izmir to the present day.
