Selçuk University organized 'Plant Planting Event' with SOBE Foundation

Selcuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Landscape Architecture organized a "Plant Planting Event" with the SOBE Foundation within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic.

Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Landscape Architecture students, foundation officials and students studying at SOBE Foundation participated in the event held in the garden of Selçuklu Foundation for the Education of Individuals with Autism.

University students planted succulent plants to be grown in the greenhouse together with students studying at the SOBE Foundation.

Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Landscape Architecture Lecturer Ruhugül Özge Gemici said, "Our volunteer students planted plants together with students with autism. Our aim is to come together with students with autism and raise awareness of the SOBE Foundation. We will contribute to the Foundation by purchasing the plants we planted here. It is a fact that individuals with autism are not fully known in society. We are here to raise awareness and show that something can be done together."
