Doğanhisar Vocational School students visited Alaeddin Keykubat Campus

Newly enrolled students of Selçuk University Doğanhisar Vocational School (Vocational School) visited Selçuk University Rectorate within the scope of the Orientation Program and received information about Alaeddin Keykubat Campus.

Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken, who met with the students at the Senate Hall, gave information about Selçuk University, Konya and Doğanhisar. Wishing the students a successful education life, Prof. Dr. Eken said, "Doğanhisar Vocational School is a vocational school that has a special importance for us. We have held senates in very few districts, and one of these districts is Doğanhisar. Therefore, we love Doğanhisar very much.  It is a district with historical and natural beauties. On the other hand, of course, you will carry the identity of Selçuk University. This identity is a really honorable and proud identity."

Prof. Dr. Eken said that the University is an educational institution with a deep-rooted history and significant achievements at national and international level. Stating that Selçuk University has unique beauties, Eken said, "We have a lush green campus like Doğanhisar. Our campus has approximately 60 percent green area. A large part of this green area is a park. We have a campus that includes charging stations, pools and walking paths. At this point, we have entered the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. We are a green university at the world level. We have faculties that stand out in Turkey and the world. We carry out important vaccine studies. We have 2 vaccines included in the World Health Organization list. You will study at such a University. Our graduates are active all over Turkey, especially in culture, art and music. I believe that you will carry out valuable studies in your field both in our country and abroad."

Doğanhisar Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Doğan thanked the Rectorate administration and those who contributed to the organization of the Orientation Program. Stating that the first Senate Meeting at the Vocational School level was held in Doğanhisar, Doğan stated that they were the first Vocational School to visit the Rectorate within the scope of the Orientation Program.

The visit, which was accompanied by Vocational School faculty members, ended with a question and answer session.
