Businessman Hüsamettin Sönmez met with students at Selçuk University

Hüsamettin Sönmez, Chairman of the Board of Intermak AŞ, shared his experience and knowledge with the students at the "Success Stories" organized by Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic.

The opening speech of the program held by Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in the conference hall was made by Prof. Dr. Muammer Zerenler, Head of the Department of Business Administration. Hüsamettin Sönmez, Chairman of the Board of Intermak AŞ, then took the floor. Sharing his education life and work experiences, Sönmez said, "You can visit companies as a student club. You can ask for training. In today's era, individual demands are not very popular, whereas the demands of an association, a foundation, a student community attract more attention. There is more demand. You should choose a field of interest for yourself. You should concentrate on that field. Draw a target for yourself. Follow the news about finance. Make presentations to each other or to the class. English is not enough anymore. Turkey has Russia and African countries in its hinterland. Correspondence is very important. You also need to know the cultures of the countries you work in. You need to work hard and read a lot."
