100th anniversary events at Selcuk University
Selçuk University continues its activities in the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
In this context, a conference titled "Fight Against Addiction and Narco Truck" was hosted by Beyşehir Ali Akkanat Tourism Faculty.
Dean Prof. Dr. Abdullah Karaman said, "As Selçuk University and Beyşehir Ali Akkanat Tourism Faculty, we are obliged to do our part. As educational institutions, it is one of our most important duties to provide our students with healthy living habits and to raise them as conscious and responsible individuals. Dear students, you also have a big role in this struggle. Raising awareness of yourself and those around you, saying no to drug use, supporting your friends and always lending a hand to those who need help will make the most valuable contributions to this struggle."
The presentation was given by police officer İsmail Akbulut.
AKŞEHİR FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES
Akşehir Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences held a conference titled "Energy Policies in the World and Turkey in the 100th Year of our Republic". Academic and administrative staff and students attended the conference held in the Faculty Conference Hall. The conference, which focused on the developments in the field of energy on a global scale and in Turkey and alternative energy sources, was held by Selçuk University Yunak Vocational School Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sami Duran.
YUNAK VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
"Akşehir Western Front Headquarters Museum on the Road to the Republic" was visited by Yunak Vocational School.
The program, which was also attended by students from Akşehir Kadir Yallagöz School of Health, was supported by Akşehir and Yunak Municipalities. Akşehir Mayor Dr. Salih Akkaya, Yunak Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Kadir Öztaş and Sevcan Çavdar gave information about the museum to the students.
HUĞLU VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Huğlu Vocational School also organized an event called "A Cleaner Turkey in the 100th Year".
In the event organized in cooperation with Huğlu Vocational School and Huğlu Shotguns Cooperative Health, Safety and Environment Unit, garbage and wastes were separated at the source in the forest area between the Vocational School and the Shotguns Cooperative and collected by students studying in the Occupational Health and Safety Program. The event ended with a tour of Huğlu Shotguns Cooperative Factory.
