100th anniversary events continue at Selcuk University

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Republic with events organized in many fields from science to cinema, music to sports, Selçuk University will continue its activities until the end of the year.

Selçuk University Nasreddin Hodja Application and Research Center organized an introductory trip to Akşehir, the Western Front Headquarters of the National Struggle, within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Year of our Republic. 130 newly enrolled students visited Nasreddin Hodja Tomb, Western Front Headquarters Museum, Nasreddin Hodja Archeology and Ethnography Museum, Seyyid Mahmud Hayrani Tomb and Akşehir Historical Church and received information from the authorities.

History Teacher Kübra Utku gave lectures on "Historical Background and Importance of our Republic" and Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Osman Tugay gave lectures on "Developments on Turkey's Biodiversity in the Past Century" within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic at Selçuk University Taşkent Vocational School.

Selçuk University Ilgın Vocational School organized an event called "I was there - Career Days" within the scope of 100 Events in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic. Aydın Öztürk, one of the graduates of Ilgın Vocational School, attended the event as a speaker.
